    1904 seems to be a boom year for the stretch of Italian-America on 1st Avenue between 10th and 11th. It's the year Lanza, DeRoberti's AND this Italian specialty grocery all opened. The only Italian grocery left since Pasta Place (est. 1909) and Ferrucci's both bit the dust a few years ago. Homemade tortellini and ravioli of many flavors. We love the homemade mozzarella - get it with or without salt.
